Competitive Salary – Negotiable on experience

JGT Recruitment are seeking an experienced SHEQ Specialist for a highly reputable firm on a permanent basis.

Our client is well established and highly regarded in its industry, with multiple sites nationally and overseas. As SHEQ Specialist, you’ll be responsible for a number of sites in the North of England, all of which are within a very manageable driving distance.

Your duties and responsibilities as SHEQ Specialist include:

  • Having a day-to-day presence in supporting on-site staff
  • Onboarding new employees via inductions and all internal training
  • Outsourcing external training
  • Working to continually inspect and improve internal health, safety, and quality processes
  • Ensuring accurate documentation can be filed, retrieved, and evidenced at all times
  • Collaborating with the H&S team to ensure universal processes and policies across all sites
  • Executing risk assessments

The successful candidate must have:

  • NEBOSH / IOSH as a minimum
  • Experience in both manufacturing and managing people
  • Exceptional organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
